Asher Kohn is journalist in Silicon Valley. He is primarily interested in urban infrastructure and communities’ relationships towards it — particularly water rights and access to water. He is currently a reporter for the Los Altos Town Crier.

Asher is competent with Adobe Creative Suite and Mapbox’s TileMill GIS software. He has studied Turkish, Persian, Spanish, Hebrew, and Urdu and can mumble in these languages with varying proficiencies.
Before California he lived in Turkey, where he was working as a freelance writer and researcher. He has also lived in the Netherlands, and has reported from the United Arab Emirates, Germany, Georgia, Croatia, and Azerbaijan.
